Societas
Christiana
For nearly a thousand years, the Christian faith has been fractured. We are dedicated to healing these divisions and restoring the unity that Christ intended for His Church.
One Body.
One Faith.
One Lord.
In 1054, divisions between the Eastern and Western traditions fractured the Christian faith. For the next millennium, splinters became fractures, and fractures became chasms. Today, thousands of denominations stand in opposition to one another, each convinced of their exclusive hold on truth.
Yet Jesus constructed peace, not division. The Spirit of God weaves through all life, and nothing woven into the fabric of reality desires destruction over construction.

Years Divided
The Fractures
Understanding the historical divisions that have separated the Body of Christ is the first step toward healing them.
The Great Schism
The formal split between Eastern Orthodoxy and Roman Catholicism, dividing Christianity along theological, political, and cultural lines.
Western Schism
Multiple claimants to the papacy created competing factions within the Catholic Church, weakening its central authority.
Protestant Reformation
Martin Luther's Ninety-five Theses sparked a movement that would fragment Western Christianity into hundreds of denominations.
Salem Witch Trials
Religious extremism and persecution in colonial America demonstrated how fractured theology could lead to violence.
Azusa Street Revival
The birth of Pentecostalism added another major branch to Christianity, further diversifying Protestant expression.
Doing the Exact Opposite of the Crusades
We have no dedicated plan, but a series of operating constraints. This ensures we will always have some confusion regarding how we move forward, requiring mutual conversation and commitment to peace.
Truth Over Victory
We seek truth in all matters of faith, prioritizing understanding over winning arguments.
Peace Over Conquest
We reject the methods of the Crusades. Reconciliation happens through dialogue, not domination.
Listening Over Preaching
Before we speak, we listen. Understanding another's faith journey is the foundation of unity.
Works Over Words
Good Works unite us more effectively than theology divides us. We act together in service.

Christians Worldwide
The Next 30 Years
Within the next generation, all Christians should focus on unifying their religious differences into a single body of belief. This aligns with society, the Word, and the Spirit of God's Grace on this Earth.
